Make It Yours, make it unique

Commissions

Every commission starts with a conversation.

You don't need to know exactly what you want. Maybe you have a rough idea, a story you'd like to capture, an old piece of jewellery you'd like to transform, or simply a feeling you'd like to turn into something you can wear.

Tell me what you're imagining, what you'd like the piece to mean, or perhaps just the story behind it. I'll listen, ask questions, and we'll explore ideas together, from possible designs and materials to what will and won't work.

Your piece can be made using new materials that I ethically source for you, or we can give something you already own a new life. Old jewellery, inherited pieces or precious metals can sometimes be transformed into something completely new, or just have minor adjustments, keeping a connection to their story and history.

I'm always upfront about limitations, practicalities and costs. I'll give you a quote based on what we've discussed, or, if you already have a budget in mind, tell me what it is and I'll work with you to see what we can create within it.

For me, a commissioned piece is a privilege. I value the trust involved in asking me to make something personal, and I take every piece of your story seriously.

The result should feel like something we've created together.

Client: “Can you make a moon pendant that represents the moon as it appeared on the day she was born?”

The process

Client: “I’d like a ring like the one on instagram but a bit chunkier, a bit sturdier. I want to imbue the rough Scottish sea.”

—— more back and forth on ideas ——

Client: “It fits perfectly and I love it!”
